Hey Crushers!

Thank you to those who were able to come out and check out our show last night at the Prestige. Once again we had a lot of fun and you guys are the reason for it! If you missed it, you can catch us next time. We are working on trying to get weekend shows but right now that is difficult because most places have their weekends booked until Jan 1. But we will keep trying. In the meantime, there will probably be some more Thursday shows. We will keep you posted.

On another note, our audition process for our second female singer has come to an end. Congratulations to Allyson, she will be joining the Velvet Crush family. Her sparkling personality and beautiful vocals are sure to add to our sound. Be sure to come see her big debut with us very soon. You can check her out here.  We also want to say a big THANK YOU to Melissa who has been doing an amazing job filling in as our second female vocalist until we could find a suitable replacement. We loved having her and we will miss her very much.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!  We had a great practice last night and were able to make some new recordings with much better results than we  previously had posted. We also put up some new photos. Check out the home, songs and about us website pages if you get the chance.  And finally, the stars are aligning and it looks like August will be our big debut, keep your eyes open for a new post with our schedule in the days ahead… see you soon!

Hey Everyone! We will be trying out some new recording equipment this weekend and hope to have some much better sounding samples up for you to listen to. In the meantime, we have decided to take down the old recordings…since the quality was so poor. Thank you for your patience and we can’t wait to see you all at a live show very soon!

Instead of making you wait any longer, we have decided to post some recordings we took with a little digital voice recorder at our last band rehearsal. The sound quality isn’t great, but it should give you some idea of what we’ve been up to.  We’re shopping for some real audio recording equipment, so you shouldn’t have to put up with the poor sound quality for long.

Hope you are all gearing up for a fun and safe 4th of July! Many thanks to our friend, Jerry, for opening up his home to us the last couple of months for practices. However, we have held his basement hostage long enough and are moving our practice location.  Now, we’re in the process of looking at some home studio equipment so that we can get some music up on the site. If anyone has any words of advice on what kinds of things to steer towards, or steer clear of, we want to hear from you! Even if you don’t we would love to hear from you! We are also networking with area venues to get some shows lined up so you can all come out and have some fun with us! Stay tuned for music, photos and events coming soon.
