Here we are mid December and the end of 2011 is quickly approaching. If you are deciding what to do for New Year’s Eve we have just what you are looking for. We will be performing at the 21st Saloon (96th & L) in Omaha on December 31st from 9pm to 1am. Don’t miss this night of fun…including some special guests and surprises. Cover is just $5 and there will be free champagne at midnight.

On another note, we are sorry to say that  after nearly 2+ years Allyson has parted ways with us. She is on to new musical adventures, we will definitely miss her and she will always be a part of the Velvet Crush family.

On that note, we are pleased to announce that our NYE show will also be the debut performance of the newest member of Velvet Crush, JoEll.  JoEll is an awesome vocalist and makes a wonderful addition to our team!

We are excited for the new year and look forward to more music and fun. Once again, we would like to thank you for your support and look forward to seeing your smiling faces at our shows throughout 2012. You guys are the best!

First off, I would like to apologize for the blunder in my previous email post. I wrote the correct date in the subject November 4th, but in the body of the email I wrote we were cancelling our show at Ameristar on November 11th. Duh! This is why you probably shouldn’t send out messages while you are heavily medicated. Lesson learned!

We are happy to announce that we are well enough to go on tonight, Saturday, November 5th at the Amerisports Bar in the Ameristar Casino. Show starts at 8:30pm. See you there!

We have a busy week coming up. We are very pleased to announce we will be playing Omaha’s very first Red Sky Music Festival (which runs July 18-23) at the TD Ameritrade Park on Thursday, July 21st on Stage C from Noon-12:45pm. I know it’s a work day but listening to a little music is a great way to spend your lunch hour if you happen to have to work downtown. Next, it’s the Loose Moose (120th & Fort) on Friday, July 22 from 9:30pm-1:300am. The Loose Moose is always a party. If you can’t get out Thursday, this will be a fantastic kick off to your weekend! And last, but certainly not least. We will be headed back up to Storm Lake, Iowa for their Ridiculous Days street dance. We sure have come to love Storm Lake. The crowd is always wonderful, the lake is awesome and the good times roll up there. They will have lots going on all day long for everyone but we will be playing a ‘beverage garden’ show from 7:30-11:30pm.
